Meghan has been practicing pilates for the last 8 years, and has been teaching pilates for 4 years. Throughout her teaching career Meghan has had the pleasure of teaching at studios such as Body Tonic Pilates Gymnasium in Brooklyn NY, Harmony Pilates in NJ, Eclectic Yoga in Washington Heights, Reps personal training facility in Maui Hawaii, and SomaFit Day Spa in Georgetown D.C. to name a few. Meghan has studied pilates extensively through workshops and classes taught by Master Teachers Mari Winsor, Jillian Hessel, Ellie Herman as well as Bret Anderson. Meghan has also been mentored by Master Teachers Jennifer DeLuca and Caitlin Cook. Meghan has her BA in modern dance and has also studied other mind-body disciplines, such as the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais and yoga. Meghan is also an avid outrigger canoe paddler, surfer, and has swam across a few of the finger lakes!
Meghan enjoys teaching pilates to all types of individuals: men, women, kids, athletes, those who are recovering from an injury, and people of all body types and various ages. By focusing on building core strength and overall body awareness, Meghan has helped many people gain total body flexibility, leanness, and confidence in general with pilates. Meghan has taught Pilates for Men, Pilates for golf, Pre-Natal Pilates, and Pee-Wee Pilates group classes.
